Justin West, native of Houston, TX, is a tenor, choral conductor, adjunct instructor, and a recital accompanist and event pianist. He is currently a junior at Lamar University working toward the Bachelor of Music degree with an emphasis in Choral (Vocal) Music Education and Piano. Justin performs in the nationally recognized A Cappella Choir and is the accompanist for Grand Chorus. Before moving to Beaumont to pursue formal training, Justin served on the music staff as Assistant Conductor and Pianist for RMCC in Houston. He is also a sought after collaborative pianist. He has played for several regional competitions, choirs, children's choruses, and solo vocal and instrumental performers in Beaumont and Houston. Justin's recent appointments include the Beaumont Ballet Theatre, Beaumont Community Players, Southeast Texas Children's Chorus, NISD, HJISD, and BISD among others. In fall 2010, Justin will begin an appointment as Rehearsal Accompanist for the Beaumont Interfaith Choral Society. He is the recipient of several academic scholarships and honors including President's list placement and the coveted TMEA Undergraduate Scholarship in Music Education. Justin was also previously employed as an Adjunct Instructor of Piano and Voice at All About Music Fine Arts Academy in Houston and holds a private piano and voice studio serving the Beaumont and Houston area. Justin is happy to continue his appointment as Director of Music at FCC. His professional affiliations include TMEA, ACDA, Delta Omicron professional music fraternity where he served as Director of Music Activities and Publicity for the Omicron Beta Chapter (2009-2010), SNATS, and the collegiate chapter of MENC.

Rev. Glenn F. Moore, Minister Emeritus, retired in 1998 after serving as pastor of First Christian
Church for 30 years.  He and his wife, Joyce, live in Beaumont and have three children and four grandchildren.  Glenn has an AA degree from San Antonio College, a BA from Texas Christian University, and a Master of Divinity from Brite Divinity School and is certified in clinical pastoral
education.  He was twice elected president of the Coastal Plains Area, was vice president of the
Texas Association of Christian Churches, and a board member of Christian Church in the U.S. and Canada.
Joy McFaddin is our church secretary.  She comes to us with fifteen years of church office experience!   She is a wonderful wife and terrific grandmother to five grandchildren.
Rev. Brenda Griffin Warren, Senior Pastor, is  a native of Dallas, Texas, but has lived for the past 25 years in Beaumont. She has been married for 28 years to Harvey Warren, an attorney and a native of  Beaumont . They have two sons, John and James.  Brenda enjoys traveling, reading, Celtic spirituality, and genealogy.  She is a graduate of Baylor University and received a Master’s in Library Science (M.L.S.) from TWU. Brenda formerly served as a library director in Dallas, Beaumont, and Nederland. Brenda felt a call to ministry and graduated in May, 2003 with a Master of Divinity (MDiv.) degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She was ordained to the Christian Ministry by the Christian Church, Disciples of Christ in the Southwest in March, 2007 and has served on our staff since May, 2003.  Pastor Brenda serves on the Southwest Region of the Christian Church's Committee on Ministry and on the Coastal Plains Area Committee on Ministry where she serves as a POM Leader. 

Cresencio "Chris" Suarez is responsible for duties associated with Custodian/Maintenance. He, his wife, Martha and three children live in Beaumont.

Jan Lyle serves as our Wedding Coordinator and sees that wedding events held at First Christian Church run smoothly and efficiently.   Jan comes with a great deal of experience to be used as needed for her church.

Darrell Olges is our new Chancel Choir Accompanist.  Darrell has held part-time positions in church music from the age of 12.  When you hear Darrell play, you know it is a marvelous gift God has given him.
Christine Hamilton comes from a very involved family at First Christian- grandparents Rev. Glenn and Joyce Moore and Jo Hamilton, parents Mike and Melinda Hamilton, and siblings Meredith and Hunter who also served previously as summer youth-interns. She has lived in Beaumont her entire life and grew up at First Christian Church where she was active in the youth group and played guitar in the Praise Band. Christine graduated from West Brook High School in 2009, and has just finished her freshman year of college as a Psychology major at Texas A&M.
