Rev. Glenn F. Moore, Minister Emeritus, retired in 1998 after serving as pastor of First Christian
Church for 30 years.  He and his wife, Joyce, live in Beaumont and have three children and four grandchildren.  Glenn has an AA degree from San Antonio College, a BA from Texas Christian University, and a Master of Divinity from Brite Divinity School and is certified in clinical pastoral
education.  He was twice elected president of the Coastal Plains Area, was vice president of the
Texas Association of Christian Churches, and a board member of Christian Church in the U.S. and Canada.
Melinda Hamilton serves as nursery coordinator.  As a B.I.S.D. teacher for 17 years, Melinda has experience with all age levels.  She currently teaches at West Brook High School.  Her husband Mike and three children are active F.C.C. members.
Joy McFaddin is our new church secretary.  She comes to us with fifteen years of church office experience!   She is a wonderful wife and terrific grandmother to five grandchildren.
Rev. Brenda Griffin Warren, Senior Pastor, is  a native of Dallas, Texas, but has lived for the past 23 years in Beaumont. She has been married for 26 years to Harvey Warren, an attorney and a native of  Beaumont . They have two sons, John and James.  Brenda enjoys traveling, reading, Celtic spirituality, and genealogy.  She is a graduate of Baylor University and received a Master’s in Library Science (M.L.S.) from TWU. Brenda formerly served as a library director in Dallas, Beaumont, and Nederland. Brenda felt a call to ministry and graduated in May, 2003 with a Master of Divinity (MDiv.) degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She was ordained to the Christian Ministry by the Christian Church, Disciples of Christ in the Southwest in March, 2007 and has served on our staff since May, 2003.

Cresencio "Chris" Suarez is responsible for duties associated with Custodian/Maintenance. He, his wife, Martha and three children live in Beaumont.

Grace Megnet, our music director, is originally from Switzerland. Grace has a teaching certificate from the University of Berne, Switzerland and her Master's of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) from Stephen F. Austin University.  She is also the owener of Megnet Gallery in Beaumont and ia Fine Arts instructor at Lamar State College, Port Arthur and at St. Anthony Cathedral School.  Even though she holds degrees in other fields, music has been part of her entire life. She got her first instructions when she had to sing with her mother while drying the dishes. Grace hopes to give glory to God and to bring a great deal of joy and peace to the people who produce music with her as well as to those who listen to it.

Helen Smith serves as our Wedding Coordinator and sees that wedding events held at First Christian Church run smoothly and efficiently.   Formerly, she was an executive director of a local non-profit organization for 13 years.   Helen and her husband, Steve, have been active members of FCC since 1977 and have two adult children (and one daughter-in-law) who grew up at FCC.
